We arrived to be told we did not have a reservation, and they were fully booked. We were offered a refund or they would try to find us a room nearby. We were distraught, a refund was of no value we needed a room for the night. I contacted an Expedia agent online and kept them abreast of what was happening. The Beyzas hotel offered us a room at the Arach Otel 2 blocks away, as it was supposedly a 4 star hotel we were asked to pay an extra €20. Being late in the afternoon we accepted and advised Expedia accordingly. The hotel was barely 1 star, we were given a room with no window, basic bedding, the breakfast was inedible. We don't know who was at fault, but it was obvious our room had been resold at a higher price as we had reserved and paid for it 12 months earlier.

Harika bir otel

A perfect place to stay!

Extremely pleasant stay! This was my favorite hotels to stay in Istanbul. Excellent hospitality, the rooms were very clean and cozy, the staff were welcoming and always greeted with a smile, especially the receptionist. Great location , far from all the music blasting throughout the day but also very close to Taksim Square and the shopping area. Without a doubt my favorite hotels in Istanbul.

Otopark yok. Yan sokaktaki bir yer günlüğüne 500₺ alıyor. Konfor beklenecek bir yer değil, sadece barınma için kullanacak olanlar için ideal bir yer. Temizlik orta düzey, kahvaltısı yeterli, odalar barınma için iyi. Taksim'e yürüyerek yakın. Etrafında bar vs olmadığı için de gürültü sorunu yok. Biraz sigara kokusu vardı.

The pictures on th website make the hotel look much bigger and grander than it actually is. While the reception staff were very kind, and the suite, which was about 300 sq m and very affordably-priced, was spacious and clean, there was a missing TV in the living area and the bathroom tap was loose. Whatever windows the suite had, opened out into small air wells, so there was no view, and any noise from the adjoining rooms filtered right in even when the windows were open ever io slightly for ventilation. My stay here taught me one thing about Istanbul — even though the city centre seems very compact and the hotel was located slightly off the main road smack between Osmanbey and Taksim metro stations (a 10-minute walk either way) — visitors need to be extra careful in ascertaining a hotel's precise location because once you wander two blocks or two streets in the wrong direction, you might find yourself in a seedy neighbourhood. That said, I found it helpful that there was a dry cleaners/laundromat almost directly opposite the hotel entrance, as well as a telco store where I could easily find a Turkcell SIM card. I found myself making sure I was back at the hotel before sundown. Visitors might feel much safer staying in Fatih/Sultanamehmet near the Spice Bazaar, or in Beyoglu, on or near Bogazkesen Cd or Yeni Cars, or within the Galataport hotels.

Oda havalandirma bosluguna bakiyor. Temizlik kotu durumda. Yapilmaya calisiyorlar belki ama esyalar ve nevresimler o kada rkotu durumdaki istedigin kadar temizle yani. Konum olarak guzel ama asla bu fiyati etmez.
