スルタンアフメトモスクに近くて便利。ただ部屋はちょっと狭め。バスタブ付き希望だったけどシャワーのみだった。ランドリーサービスは1キロ10ユーロだった。

Had a lovley stay here, reception staff so friendly and approachable, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were catered for. The location is very good, not far at all from many restaurants and amenities.

I especially liked how convenient the Hotel was to the major sites in Istanbul. The Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. And the view from the restaurant for dinner was incredible.

De standaard kamer was schoon, maar heel klein. De Elegance kamer was beter. Het personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was lekker en gevarieerd.

Although there were problems getting into our rooms initially, and we had to spend the night in other hotels, the end result was a discounted stay, and the staff was accommodating to take care of us. The area is convenient to explore the historic city center, and was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very supportive in setting up airport transfers for us, and even made reservations at a local hammam and provided transport to that as well.

Overall I like the place-view from Terrace is amazing! Spend your evening in romantic atmosphere of charming breeze from the sea,music and good food! But rooms haven’t been renovated for long time,the standard rooms are very small,bathrooms are very cramped. The beds were very uncomfortable and small But everything compensate with nice staff,good breakfast and location-5min away from beautiful square with mosques. Hotel located in very quiet place. We might come back,but take bigger room.

We stayed at 4 hotels in Türkiye due to travel and Avecinna was by far the best. The breakfast’s were delicious and well presented. The front desk was helpful, kind, and accommodating. The concierge by the name of Bilal was especially helpful and extended himself far beyond what was expected. We thank Avicenna for a delightful stay.

Very disappointing experience — unexpected and unreasonable extra charge.My husband and I had a 20-hour layover in Istanbul and booked an Elegant King Double Room with a balcony at Avicenna Hotel through Expedia. I paid around $100 for the upgraded room, which clearly accommodates two people. The reservation was made under my name, and when we arrived, we were informed during check-in that we had to pay an additional €25 because the reservation was listed for only one person. This made absolutely no sense to me. We had booked a king-size double room, not a single room, and the room itself was exactly the same regardless of whether one or two people stayed in it. When I asked why there was an additional charge simply because my husband’s name was not listed on the reservation, I was told that it was “the rule” and that there was nothing they could do. I then asked for clarification about what the additional €25 was actually covering. I was told that the reservation included breakfast for only one person. I explained that we would not be having breakfast at the hotel at all, since we had to leave around 4:00 AM for our flight. Despite this, the staff member still insisted that we pay the additional fee. After speaking with the owner, he reduced it to €20, but made it clear that unless we paid, we would not be allowed to check in. The whole situation was extremely frustrating, especially after a long journey when we were simply trying to check into our hotel and get some rest.

This is now my third time at this hotel and it’s huge attraction is its situation so close to to the historical centre. As I get older I regret that it has no lift, but in all other respects it met my needs very well.
