"We had a very enjoyable week in Isola delle Femmine. The villa was very comfortable for 5 adults and benefited from 3 bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with coffee pod machine. We enjoyed sitting around the pool, and even managed a few swims which were cold as to be expected in March! Easy walking distance into town, for restaurants, coffee bars and ice cream. There is also a well stocked grocery store. If I had to find a negative it would be that the bathrooms could probably do with updating....

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"This older, large, two-story home is a tranquil oasis in which we spent five days of our vacation. Relatively close to the Palermo airport, (and airport car rentals,) the home is located in a quiet, well-established, residential area of similar homes. "The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. The second day of our stay there, I had a minor injury (which was my own fault), it wasn’t serious but I thought it still would be safer to go to the hospital since I will be traveling for a while. On our arrival, we were met with friendly hosts and a tour of Balestrate followed - which is a short walk from the property with an array of lovely eateries and watering holes.
