Great place for ice fishing, close to restaurants and town but quiet in a wooded area too:) The sauna and fireplace were wonderful after a cold day on the ice. "This is a wonderful property! We originally booked for a place to stay for the Vasaloppet ski race and a 50th birthday celebration. Sadly, the race was canceled, but celebration continued. The place is very clean/new. The open floor plan is wonderful for gathering as a group. "The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and functional for our group of 11. The kitchen was clean and functional for our group. The lighting over the dining table was inadequate for playing games. The only place to sit and read with adequate lighting was on the upstairs balcony which was an excellent place to play a musical instrument for acoustics."

"Very welcoming! Creates the perfect cabin getaway experience! Outside of the cabin the area is very walkable (We like to walk at least 1.5-2 miles to start our day) ... and there are many opportunities to hike trails nearby (Father Hennepin offers hiking and biking). There are also a plethora of eating opportunities ... some do not need a car to get there! If you do choose to drive, we definitely recommend the ice cream at Malmo Market! Back at the cabin, you can choose to enjoy the amazing view...
