"It was great for our large family to stay together in a house that fitted us all. The house was spacious and allowed everyone to be comfortable. Being right near the beach and walking pathways just added to our stay. "

The location was quiet and peaceful and not too far from the ferry at Penneshaw. It was a good location also to visit places and attractions on the eastern side of Kangaroo Island. "

"Communication was excellent with clear instructions of how to access the property. The accomodation is tiny as indicated in the picture, but great for one or two people. Ambience-perfect, with the cabin surrounded by nature and visiting kangaroos. Bunk bed however is a little hard to access via the ladder."

"Exceptional value. Loved our stay at The Dunes Kangaroo Island. The house feels newly built—airy, generous spaces, high ceilings, and big windows that bring in soft coastal light. Beds are superb, showers have great pressure, and the kitchen has everything. Outdoor deck + lounge were our favourite spots for sunrise and evenings, and we saw kangaroos in the early morning (around 7.30 am). Everything is spotless and clearly well cared for—truly worth more than its price. A small request for future guests: please treat the house with the same care—tidiness as you go, so everyone can enjoy it at its best."
