This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place.

Stayed for 4 days in October. All hotel staff was very helpful arranging taxis and places to go. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Great pool to cool off. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the room was comfortable and clean. Lovely colonial feel and can't beat the location. Had a great time.

This historic building was beautiful, spacious, and tranquil. There aren't many rooms, so even though it was full when I stayed there, it did not feel like a busy hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only warning is that the pool (the first ever built in Granada, I'm told) is very shallow. It is in great shape and looks lovely, but if you want to do laps you won't have much room to work with. The hotel is only a couple blocks from Central Park, so it is close to everything but...

Goog place

The owners are super nice and kind, very helpful with advice or booking trips or any problem that may arise. The property and the rooms are just like the pictures, clean and very beautifully decorated. Quiet and safe neighborhood and walking distance to downtown. The coffee and the breakfast are outstanding! We surely will be coming back here,we stayed six nights and it was beautiful.

Me gustó la atención al cliente son muy amables el hotel es limpio acogedor y a la vez hermoso definitivamente lo recomiendo .

We loved our stay here. There's only 4 rooms total so it feels like a private sanctuary most of the time. Convenient location, peaceful, with beautiful historic and cultural touches. Excellent service and cleanliness too. We'll definitely be back just to stay here.

The place is beautiful, and the sights are amazing. I especially loved the incredible view of the volcano. However, what I didn’t like was the bathroom. The electrical box is placed in a location where, every time we take a shower, the handle gives us an electric shock. This is very concerning and should be addressed for the safety of the guests. The place is beautiful, and the views are amazing. I especially loved the beautiful view of the volcano. However, there is a serious safety concern...

Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. Our cabana was absolutely huge with a top floor lounge and balcony with views of the lake. Don’t just want to go back, want to move there!!! Will be a regular stop any time we are in Nicaragua. Owner...

Wonderful place to stay. Food is excellent. Great view. Only problem for me was there were a lot of roaches in the room but other then that great place. Staff takes there sweet time getting to you during dining.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right in the old town one block from the main center. Everything is walkable. The hotel was very clean and the service was outstanding. It is a small location with only 7 rooms that are facing the inside courtyard as is traditional in Granada. The service and the food (full Breakfast was included) were superb. The hotel’s concierge Skarlet was unbelievable. She was available for anything we needed at all times of the day and night as well as on her days...

La propiedad estaba muy bien cuidada ,muchas áreas verdes, cuartos muy amplios

The hotel is located on a great location, walking distance to everything places to eat , the central park, El malecon (Granada Pie) very convenient and safe clean hot water, Tania, was very helpful with transportation (request Ricardo as your diver). Everyone was excellent.. Thank you!!

The service and accommodations of this hotel is fantastic. My family was traveling in Nicaragua for a week and this was the last portion of our trip, we had a 12:45 am flight the following day. Everyone had a bad case of stomach flu....especially my 5 year old daughter. Rather than charging us for 2 nights the hotel aloud us to remain in the room free of charge till our transportation to the airport arrived. I have never experienced such amazing service in my life. Do not hesitate to stay at...

Superb hotel echoes the colonial grace of the city of Granada and the life of the Spanish grandees. Felt pampered and looked after. Only there one night but would be pleased to return for a week. Friends stayed elsewhere for about the same price which offered facilities for infants, which this hotel does not. Both were lovely places near town centre. For us, this was ideal, though regretted no time for the pool.

Great hotel, stunning views over Laguna de Apoyo. The hotel provides shuttle service to the Lagoon and into Granada at 9 and 1, with pick ups at 1 or 4. They can also arrange drop offs and pick up at other times for a small charge. Its perfect for people who want a 5 star hotel away from the noise and busy city. Conviently located to Laguna de Apoyo and you get a discount when you go to the Beach Club, and if you go early enough, you'll have the Lagoon to yourselves. Ricardo and Gordon are...

Exactly what we were looking for in this beautiful city. Spanish colonial style, very comfortable & attentive staff.

Staff were 5 star. The location is perfect for jaunts around the city and central to activities nearby. Very clean and tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed the art lavishly displayed throughout the rooms and hallways. Top notch place!

It is really amazing. Great experience.

Do not judge it from the exterior overall if you travel in Granada in this period (May 2017) as there are a lot of roadwork and the street is dusty and dirty. Inside it is a beautiful pearl. The interior of the room is a piece of art. Tiles are different from room to room. Pool is large and the space for the breakfast in the interior garden is bright and breeze with trees and plants. Staff is really nice and efficient.
