「After having missed our stop on the train in Castellamare di Stabia and getting off in the next town down the line, our host was kind enough to drive 7 to 8 kilometers away to pick us up there and bring us to his lovely property, which was very appreciated after a long day of travel to get there. 「We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month! 」

「The amazing views are just incredible. From one terrace you can see the Sorrentine coastline and from the other side and rooftop terrace, Mount Vesuvius dominates. Every evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets. The five star pool is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend paying the extra to rent privately if you can. 」

"Our family had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel like part of the family. We were able to fully experience the local atmosphere, and the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. While the hotel itself shows some signs of aging, its charm more than makes up for it. If you don’t have a car, I recommend checking the local shuttle bus schedule to make your stay more convenient. It made getting around easier for us, and we were able to enjoy our trip even more. Thanks to this hotel, we were able to create some of our best family memories. A big thank you to the owner and all the staff! We would love to visit again."
