"Where to begin? Black mold? Crusty furniture? Rotting door frames? Zip ties holding the mildewed shower curtain?Admittedly- the onsite guy was nice enough to offer to " help" but what can be done in the minute about the aforementioned issues? We were already there, we're not complainers, and didnt plan more than sleeping time there so we covered the filth with the linens i brought(which i plan to trash now...again...mold, crust, filth) and persevered. I didn't plan on asking for a refund, even after the place smelled like Decades of stale smoke, I didn't plan on even giving them a bad review- only because of the nice guy at the place who seem to be trying.I got home which is a 2-hour drive, messaged the property manager through the VRBO chat that I had unintentionally brought the key to the place with me and offered to mail it as soon as the post office opens the following morning. The property manager offered to give me a partial refund for the stale smoke. I offered them some kind advice about the point of view of his customer which seem to be well received until....they found some stuffing from one of the 40 year old couch pillows WHICH FELL OUT OF THE FOLD UP COUCH THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY CLEANED. From a torn pillow which I pulled from under the couch once the bed had been opened. Next thing I know this guy is harassing me for 30 for the pillow, filth etc. Id go on but only 1500 characters allowed. Save your money. And your lungs. Stay elsewhere "

"Fantastic experience, great host, and close to everything!"

"We stayed for the month of February 2026 and loved the home. It was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the 0.8 mile walk into the village but I also bought bikes on Marketplace to have while there. We loved watching the fish in the canal and even saw some dolphins and manatee cruise by. There were plenty of dishes, spices, towels, beach toys and camping chairs. Ewa was very responsive to any questions. The pool was nice and heated. It would be great if they had kayaks but since they didn’t I purchased an inflatable paddle board to go explore the canals and bay. We went on a private boat tour of the bay with captain Aaron through Coastal Conch Charters and had a great time. He’s probably one of the nicest and most interesting guy I have ever met. We are back in freezing, snowy Minnesota and our dog is not happy about that! We will be back. "

"The house and pool are amazing. The location is so close to the main strip. The beach is within walking distance. The garage was full of beach items: wagon, beach chairs, beach toys, and almost anything else you needed for the beach. We had a few questions and the owners got back to us almost immediately. We would definitely recommend this house and we will definitely come back on another vacation here! Loved this place!"

"Kitchen is limited supplies, air conditioner is not adequate on an 85 degree day but we spent most of our time at the beautiful pool. You cannot walk to a beach as it was destroyed on 2024. Beach towel are old, cob webs in rafters, only 4 loungers by pool, some TVs did not work but we will tell you all were minor distraction as we were able to spend every day poolside."
