"Everything was great, so glad there are accommodations for our two little dogs, they are a like family for us now that we are empty nesters. Breakfast was not only a great variety but the area was kept very clean, hats off to the friendly staff. They were very accommodating with any questions that we had. Also well versed with the surrounding areas to offer suggestions when we asked about where to go for dinner. We will definitely be returning for another visit."

"The amenities and house were spot on! Check-In was very easy and ready early so we were able to explore and get comfortable with the property. We had an issue with the gas fire place but we called and the host/cabin rentals sent a repair man immediately. He was very professional and friendly. We had 6 adults and 4 children from the ages of 5 months to 5 years and had plenty of room! The house is beautiful, close to town, and would highly recommend staying at Mountain House Retreat!"

"What an amazing property!The views are stunning.The house was a dream. Plenty of space. Loads of games in the loft and in a game room that would rival a sports bar. The theater room is incredible with comfy chairs and a huge, but huge screen. Sat was Xmas movies, Sunday football!The kitchen is so well appointed, it is like being at home. All the utensils and cookware you could ask for and some basic supplies you might need.The bedrooms are spacious and the beds super comfortable.There is eating space for all the guests (- pet peeve of mine in many houses that sleep 20 but have tables for 6 - eating in shifts?) This house has a massive dining table that hosted meals and card games and holiday games.We couldn’t have been happier. Thanks for the memories!"
