"The YO Ranch Hotel is our go-to every time we visit Kerrville. This historic hotel has incredible bones—sturdy, well-built, and full of character you just can’t replicate in newer places. While some travelers might be drawn to more modern renovations, we think that’s part of what makes the YO so special. It’s a hidden gem—rich in Texas history and charm, with a rustic elegance that gives you a real sense of place. We always find ourselves talking about how, if someone ever got their hands on this property and gave it a high-end facelift, it could easily become a luxury destination (and probably price us out!). Until then, we’ll keep soaking in the cozy, old-school vibes, friendly service, and unbeatable atmosphere. Long live the YO!"
