"From check in to check out the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and hospitable. Our room was super spacious with lots of room to move around in addition to a large shower, separate tub, with an additional area with sink mirror and stool. Beds were comfortable, however, my twin bed was softer and lower in the middle resulting in me always ending up in the middle. Top floors have restaurants with excellent views and slightly inflated prices for drinks. There is a sea wall surrounding most of the property that allows for a safe and tranquil stroll along the bay. The free shuttle to and from Hiroshima Station is beneficial and convenient as the hotel is located at the end of a small peninsula which means you need to walk at least 20 mins to get to the edge if the city, main streets, or trains. We really enjoyed our two night stay with the room size being the biggest plus right along with the staff and their welcoming, helpful pleasant presence. "

"I had a great time here the rooms where well priced. 15 minute walk to the train station. Taxis are always reliable and staff was always friendly and willing to help out. Just be sure to that a translation app ready if you don't speak Japanese."

"The hotel was really close to the Ferry Terminal and we were able to drop our bags and head off quickly to see the sites. Restaurants close early on the island so eat around 5-6pm. Staying overnight lets you go up the ropeway at 9am before the day crowds hit (they are substantial). We went over on the JR Ferry and came back on the fast boat to the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Ropeway is excellent. Hotel breakfast is very good. "

"Lovely stay in a Japanese style hotel. We are travelling around Japan and this is the only traditional hotel we have stayed in. We loved the experience of slippers on arrival, yukata robe for dinner, futons transforming our tatami room to a bedroom, traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Super helpful staff for us novices!"

"This area really surprised me. It is remote but is beautiful! The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. I was expecting continuous hot water flow like in the public onsen."
