"We had such a lovely stay at Casa Os Manos — it felt calm, welcoming, and friendly. Nathan was the perfect host: kind, thoughtful, and always there when we needed anything (even emergency coffee and a bottle opener!). His hiking tips were spot on — PR9 was stunning — and it was so nice to come back to a super comfy bed, a powerful shower, and even a surprise room upgrade. We loved playing pool, listening to Sam Fender, and just soaking in the good vibes. The location is ideal for exploring the island, and the house has everything you need to feel right at home— and yes, we’ll forgive the Manchester City scarf 😅. There’s something really peaceful about the place — rural, quaint, and like it’s been looked after with care and intention. Thanks again Nathan — we truly had the best time. We will be recommending to all friends and family!"

"The property was spotlessly clean and the beds and furniture comfortable. Lucy who looks after the property made us welcome. The property is well located in the centre of Santana with a small supermarket on the doorstep and a larger Contenente supermarket still walkable. We drove, but the property managers can arrange transfer if you need it. There are plenty of eating places in Santana with the our favourite Serra e Mar just around the corner. Easy to access levada walks on the east/north coast. The property is an apartment within Villa garden with two spacious bedrooms and a large lounge/kitchen. As part of a larger property, peacefulness depends a wee bit on who else is around. Our stay over the week was mostly very peaceful though there were a couple of nights when the neighbouring apt was a bit louder than we might have liked."
