"This place has a potential to be 5 stars but lack many amenities. Pros 1, Great location - very centrally located walking distance to many restaurants, shops, downtown and ferry. 2. Newly renovated- looks new with remodeled bathroom and kitchen. Lots of room for two 3. Beautiful views of the ocean. Nice deck to sit and enjoy the sight 4. Parking space- nice to have car to explore the island Cons 1. Very sparse- only 2 towels and hand towels, would be nice to have more as well as wash clothes....

"This was a wonderful trip! The Captains Gosnold Village was a great place to stay. It had everything you needed all in one place. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage and it fit our needs perfectly. Even though there were many other cottages you would never know anyone else was there. Everyone was considerate of each other and followed the property rules. There is a community pool that wasn’t open at the time of our stay but looks nice. We loved that parking for the cottage was located right...

"The apartment is extremely well appointed; has everything you need to be away from home and comfortable. The only glitch was VRBO; this property was advertised on Expedia and linked to VRBO. VRBO did not send us the information packet prior to check-in so we didn't have the door code. Fortunately it is a condo and a board member stepped up to get us in touch with owner. Owner was very responsive! It was VRBO that dropped the ball."

"Close to beaches, clean but dated room. Lighting in room is poor. I would suggest higher wattage lightbulbs. Shower had good pressure and enough hot water. It was a quiet place handy to beaches and restaurants."

"This was a lovely rental. The space was very sophiscated with antique furnishings and beautifully painted walls. It was super clean. The space is a lot bigger then you’ll see in the listing. It sits on an estuary with lovely birds, bunnies, chipmunks, and the occasional black kitty. Lloyd the owner lives above the unit and is so gracious, respectful, and sweet. "Steps going up and down could be challenging for seniors, especially if you have heavy luggage. Space was great but the steps were in between the bedroom and the kitchen without any railing or door. Very convenient location to all ferries and activities. Try Mac’s in Chatham for lobster and seafood."
