"We LOVED this cabin. It’s brand new, clean and the perfect size for a group of 6-8. The view is incredible and you can’t beat the convenience of an easy drive to downtown steelville. Great access to the Meramac river. We stayed for a float trip and it was a quick drive to several outfitters. We are already making plans to come back next year. "

"This cabin is BEAUTIFUL!! From the stone exterior to the river view, it was nothing less perfect. Check in was effortless, everything we needed to relax was available. We did have trouble finding extra linens for the pull-out beds, but made due with what we could find without complaint. The fire pit was probably the heart of our stay. We spent each night sitting around it enjoying the flora and fauna as the sun set and colored the sky and river. We even had deer come straight up to the patio while we were sitting there! Our stay was a "Momcation" for us to get away, relax, and recharge and this cabin was the perfect environment to do just that. We are already planning a return trip in the Spring!!"

"The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and more! The layout was perfect for our large group and everyone had space to spread out. "The cabin was very clean and well furnished with modern appliances and bathrooms. Peaceful, private and quiet location. Everything worked flawlessly! The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Exactly what we wanted. Went to Steelville for dinner about 10 minutes away and had a Jam Burger at Rich's Famous Burgers. Owner is very accessible and attentive as well! Would definitely book again! "Sunrise Cabin is just what my husband and I needed to relax! The location is perfect with a relatively short walk to the Metamec River where we took a dip to cool off from the afternoon heat. The property offers floating which we didn’t take advantage of THIS TIME! But guaranteed we will next time! The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to make small snacks to full on meals. The view from both porches was spectacular. And the hot tub was a nice bonus to our relaxation! We ABSOLUTELY recommend this property and can’t wait to plan our next getaway!"

"This cabin is beautiful! We wanted to do a float trip but didnt want to stay in tents or the typical small cabins that make up the majority of this area. This cabin made our float trip feel very luxorious! Bird's Nest Lodge came and picked us up and dropped us off directly from the driveway, and their 6 mile float was perfect! This place has a wonderful secluded feel, but is only a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. The cabin itself is beautiful inside and out. Had plenty of beds and space for the 10 adults in our party. I can only speak for the master bedroom on the main level, but the bed was very comfortable! We spent a lot of time out back, and the patio and fire pit are great for enjoying the outdoors. I even set up a projector and screen to enjoy a movie outside (plenty of outdoor outlets). Very nice kitchen and living room area as well. Will definitely be coming back here, and i hope to make it a yearly event for us!"
