Lovely country pub hotel

A really pretty newly refurbished country pub hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom very clean. Tye staff were really helpful and attentive especially the waitress at breakfast. We had dinner there too which was really nice. We even attended the pub quiz!

Good choice

We were delighted with our choice of accommodation. The decor and ambiance was perfect. The whole of the building was spotlessly clean and the staff were unfailingly pleasant and polite.

Lovely hotel! Only drawback are the stairs. The room was very warm! But nicely furnished and a nice en-suite with a shower over the bath. Lots of little thoughtful touches. The staff were lovely, very genuine and kind! Food was lovely, excellent breakfast with loads of choice. The only disappointment was the cheeseboard at dinner which seemed a little over priced and biscuits that were a bit chewy! Would definitely recommend though !

Excellent food, although too much to allow us to eat a pudding! Room large and comfy, with very large bed which was very comfortable. Would definitely return and highly recommend

Thanks for a great stay

Everything was to a high standard throughout with exceptionally friendly staff, especially the breakfast waitress. However, I feel that, generally, the food is over priced.

A good location

A very successful short break. The room was comfortable, the food was generous and well prepared, and the welcoming attitude of the staff was much appreciated. We shall look forward to visiting again.
