Clean comfortable room in a grand building close to seafront close to local restaurants and bars. Room and hot water performance could do with an update but otherwise fine. Found out from staff that the hotel was closing down to be converted to flats which is a shame .

Lovely place to stay in a quieter spot but still lvery close to the sea and all og the attractions of Brighton and hove. Very clean and well appointed would definitley recommend for a getaway treat! will definitely be back!

A lovely bed and breakfast atmosphere! breakfast and tea were wonderfully prepared. Five minutes from restaurants, pubs, and Hove Lawn (beach area). Can’t say enough positive things!

Luxuries and Freedom

The luxury you experience in this place cannot be found even in a 5-star hotel. It was a very quiet place, a haven of freedom. It felt like home. The garden was amazing.

This is a lovely old building in a fantastic location in Hove. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the building is very tired, bathrooms dated, the shower over the bath just didn’t work. I don’t think the cost justifies the condition of the building. We also had quite a bit of noise from the pub behind at night, but this is understandable with its location and period windows, but do note. Parking is dead easy on the street and staff helpful filling out tickets which can be bought at the hotel.

Staff+Breakfast. Close to pubs clubs & sea. They must change the carpets because it was really dirty & full stains you require a bigger fans as the small fans are not useful, I was hoping that I would go to a hotel with Air condition & I was given a room on the 3rd floor & it was difficult to go up & down as I have arthritis on my left leg. The bedding must be changed as all my cloths were full of white bits of bedding there is slipper but they were used before hand. The room service was really poor on my second day I ask my room to be cleaned they did not change my towels toilet rolls not bleach the toilet for the price I have travelled all over the world I was expecting more!!! I have been very generous because of kind staff & the cook. I won’t be going back to that hotel again.
