"The front desk was super friendly and helpful. On checkin they gave us some dinner recommendations and on checkout were very accommodating while we left our luggage for a few hours.
The room was clean and the breakfasts were yummy and well stocked. The one downside was the amount of street noise we heard at night and we were on the top (14th) floor. But it wasn’t enough to keep me awake. I’d definitely stay here again.
Oh and park in the lot across from the entrance for overnight parking for $30 as an option to the valet $60. But it’s only good from 530p-930a and they will put a boot on if you go over. "
"The property is quiet and laid back. I will say that the room I resided in had a little bit of noise for it was near an elevator. Also, the shower curtain was dirty. Otherwise everything was satisfactory "
The Laura Hotel, Houston Downtown, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We had some issues at first but they were very nice and made up in a major way, upgraded our room to a suit , a bottle of wine, and a 100.00 for food are drinks . They were very nice . I would stay there again and i recommend any to stay there . "
"This was am excellent location! I walked to the Hobby Center and to the Discovery Garden for the SSF25 without any problems. The view from the room was even better. All of which waa made possible by Maddy and Brooke at the front desk. I had breakfast with great service from Tawande and his staff, and ask for Victor (concierge). He was full of information and a delight to talk to. At this time, there were a couple of wedding parties and other group celebrations, but it was so well managed. The king bed is super comfortable and the TV was sports fan appropriate size. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely make this a frequent / regular stay."
"Hotel is a little dated however excellent location for the convention center and facilities, staff go above and beyond, room was large with kitchen, towels not scratchy, shower worked, have bar with friendly staff and also a little happy hour midweek with free wine beer and antipasti, I will go back."
