Johannes van den Bosch and his Society of Benevolence founded the fifth colony of benevolence in 1822, in the Belgian sub-municipality of Wortel. At the time, Wortel as a village was still part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands. It has been officially registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a cultural landscape since the year 2021. The kitchen offers guests the opportunity to prepare a delicious meal, before enjoying it together at the dining table. The residence has an elegant living room with a cozy fireplace and a TV. There is a spacious parking lot, please do not park in the courtyard! This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only.
