"The staff was excellent, and the rooms were both clean and accommodating, which made for a pleasant stay. One aspect to consider is that the walls are a bit thin, so noise from neighbors can occasionally be disruptive at night. While this isn't a reflection of the location itself, it might be helpful for future guests to be mindful of others. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel for its many positive aspects."

"We had a wonderful time at this property! Our annual mushroom hunting trip to the area. You can tell the host took time to decorate the place, lots of big and small details that remind you of home. Beds were pretty comfortable. Decent size kitchen, lots of entertainment inside if the weather happens to be not great… but we spent most of our time outside. Looks like recently renovated house. Walking to the lake was super easy (although we hike a lot, so cannot speak for everyone), but it’s really a very minor slope walk about 5 mins from the house. And the lake was all ours for many hours, we literally did not meet a single person on our trip to the lake on a Saturday morning! Had an excellent time with our dog swimming in Lake Cushman! Warm water even though it’s the end of September. Recommend the place! I wish we could stay longer next time!"

"Fabulous location and quaint charm! House was clean, literally right on the water, easy to find, and great location to Hoodsport and easy access to lots of hiking. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we spent a lot of time sitting outside enjoying the gorgeous views. Might be good to know that the house does have AC but it’s only in the living room. We managed with the fans provided in the bedrooms (and appreciated them!) but easy to see how the bedrooms could get pretty toasty during the warmer summer months. Overall, that did not diminish our fabulous stay! "

"We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. It felt both comfortable and convenient without losing its log cabin charm.The surrounding area adds even more to the experience: plenty of amazing hiking trails, and the town of Hoodsport has great unpretentious restaurants with fresh seafood.Overall, this was a wonderful spot to unwind, connect with friends and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!"
