Then the next night they had a ceilidh which kept us awake until after midnight. They need to decide if they are a hotel or a nightclub/entertainment venue, because they do a terrible job of being both at once. I would not stay here again."Reviewed November 5, 2026Roundtrip • Tokyo (TYO) - Edinburgh (EDI)NRT - EDI • 1 stop EDI - NRT • 1 stop￥630,943￥408,194found 1 day agoper traveler - Stay Central

"This was a cute little studio apartment. Restaurant right next door provides breakfast and lunch. Great location near the train station and right in Old Town. Within walking distance of everything."
"We stayed for a week, Great spot, nice and quite, a small supermarket almost right behind, which was very handy. 1 min walk from the Royal mile too. easy access to some local restaurants and cafes etc. the only issue we had was the heater wasn't working, we were given a small electric radiator that help take the chill off but it wasn't ideal. we did tell the office and they said that they would advise the maintenance staff, but in the whole week we never saw them. Apart from smokers standing...

The Brewers Rooms Contemporary Aparthotel"The room was clean and location was amazing. However, the shower had black mold like chunks coming off into the shower as you’re showering. There was not enough toilet paper or kitchen rolls. The staff responded via message and sent someone but took till the last day to get a roll of toilet paper we had to buy our own. We also requested one more towel and never got that. The location was great and overall rooms were nice just wish there was a better system to get extra needed items."
