Country cottage close to the Peak District with stunning Holme Valley views

Set in the heart of Yorkshire countryside, just 4 miles from Holmfirth with a country pub 2 minutes walk away, our recently renovated cosy cottage looks out over stunning and far reaching views of the Holme Valley.

The cottage has off-road parking suitable for 2 cars. A gated garden path leads to a paved patio ideal for enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

The cottage comprises a tiled floor entrance porch with coat hooks, shoe rack and washer/dryer.
The light and spacious fully fitted kitchen with a 2 seat breakfast bar leads through to a wooden floored open plan living and dining area with wood burning stove.
A carpeted single turn staircase gives access to carpeted king-sized & twin bedrooms which share a fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath.
The cottage is double glazed with full central heating, and hot water on demand.

Our family home is just next door to the holiday cottage - so we are on hand to help with questions most of the time.

Holmfirth is in a beautiful part of the world, and whilsts guests can enjoy the wonderful views - this can be a dramatic and windswept location. Be sure to bring plenty of layers to keep warm outside!

Excellent cottage
The little house is beautifully decorated and clean, with comfy beds, good quality tasteful furnishings, nice modern kitchen with everything you need. The only downside for us was the road alongside the property garden - a lovely courtyard, secure for the dogs but quite a lot of noise from passing idiots driving too fast or on awful noisy motorbikes. Didn’t spoil our stay but it is a shame, as the house is well located for fabulous walks and sightseeing but the road is a drawback. Otherwise perfect.

Lovely Cottage in a Beautiful Area
The Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. It was very well maintained, well equipped, and felt like our home from home. This cottage is lovely and situated in such a a beautiful area of the countryside, with gorgeous views.

The property was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was in a good position for hill cycling and I enjoyed visiting the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I would recommend it to friends.
