"It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. "Great value. One of the better continental breakfasts I’ve seen. Lots of options including eggs, sausage, waffles and different juices. Room was a little beat up but nothing that would keep me from staying again. Beds were comfortable and clean. Great stay especially for the fair price."

"We stayed there for one night as we passed through the area on our travels. It is a charming hotel. We had a king studio that was located upstairs. I walk with a cane and there is no elevator so that was the only down side. The studio room was large and immaculately clean. It had a huge flat screen smart tv and a very comfortable couch. There was a small dining table and 2 chairs. The room had both a jetted tub and a shower. The coffee maker did not work but there was coffee in the lobby....
