Relax Hotel Takayama Station

"All service members were extremely nice and helpful. Location is about as ideal as it can get and the rooms were amazing. Large with so many amenities."
Hida Takayama Onsen Takayama Green Hotel (KEIO GROUP HOTELS)

"This is a large sprawling hotel with a relatively new addition block (2020) I think, in which we had a very nice room looking out onto the wide open area and above the large car and coach parking area. The Hotel appears to cater mostly to Bus tour operators with these arriving and departing daily. The staff were mostly really nice and helpful, we used the outdoor Onsen pool which was great, there were others to choose also. Didn’t have the breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment. The shuttle bus starts running to the train & bus stations at 8:00am which we found very strange, usually a hotel this size would have it running 24hrs or at least from 6am. The hotel is so large unfamiliar guests can easily get lost or not know where to find the different areas. Nice hotel and I’d stay again if ever in Takayama."

"Excellent location with onsite parking. Walking distance to all attractions and shops. Rooms were clean & nicely furnished. Compact yet cozy with good amenities. Hotel provided a recommended list cafes/restaurants. There was also free flow of drinks during tea and post dinner (including sake) at Lobby area. Would definitely stay here again."

"Stay a bit outside the town center and travel by bus (hotel provided for free) into the town. The town is amazingly peaceful and clean with amazing vistas. Hotel amenities are excellent and the onsen that is on premises is excellent."

"Next to the station, within waking distance from most of the interesting sites. Good breakfast. The room size is reasonable. Washer/dryer machine in the room is very convenient. Great view from the top level terrace."

"Nice and efficient hotel in excellent location near train station and old town. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff fairly fluent in English. Gets large group tours so common areas can get very busy at times."
