The hotel was very conveniently situated for our trip to Kew Gardens, being just one stop away on the tube, and it was very handy to have secure onsite parking. We were very grateful to be able to check-in early, and the reception staff were very accommodating when we asked for a quiet room after finding out there was a function on at the hotel that night. I slept well and didn’t hear a thing! Our room was clean and tidy, but a little tired. Unfortunately there was very heavy rain during our stay which we assume was the cause of a small ingress of water into our bathroom. However, it wasn’t a major issue and the reception staff promised to take care of it when we reported it in the morning at check-out. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty; I was impressed that there was gluten free bread readily available with its own toaster at a separate station.

Very close to Earls Court tube which was great. Breakfast was nice to have.

A good functional hotel. We didn’t use bar or restaurant as had local plans. Room ok for an overnight stay and was comfortable enough. When arriving at the hotel (which is located within the university grounds) you will see brown signs to follow. These signs indicate you need to go through a barrier; when at the barrier press the intercom button and the barrier will open. The hotel is a little further up in the left. There is no big frontage as it’s an old Halls of Residence. You can park anywhere there (watch for disabled spaces). Parking is free and you need to enter your number plate at reception. Check in staff were lovely and Ubers know who to get in and out if you’re using Uber.

We stayed at the Piccadilly and it was a great location! Hotel was clean and staff helpful when needed. The room itself is small but practical, I liked the cocoon style room!
