This property has a pool that can be heated between Labor Day and Memorial Day for an additional fee of $69/night. You MUST notify Vacasa at least seven days in advance of your arrival if you would like to purchase pool heat.  If the outside temperature is colder than 55 degrees, the pool will not be able to maintain a warmer temperature.  If the pool does not reach your desired temperature but is still warming, refunds will NOT be given. 

Sea Oak Lane 5 offers a spacious floor plan plus it is located in a great spot on Hilton Head Island making it a perfect family beach retreat. This vacation rental provides ample seating in the living area as well as a dining space that can host twelve or more. This rental also features a full kitchen and a furnished deck with a gas grill. Slip into your private pool or walk the short path across from this home to get your toes in the sand in minutes!

Forest Beach is located at the south end of the island and is one of the original Hilton Head beach communities. This area boasts long stretches of beautiful beach and miles of bike paths to make peddling or walking from place to place a breeze! And less than a half-mile away, enjoy dining, shopping, and live entertainment along Pope Avenue and at Coligny Plaza, considered the heart of Forest Beach.

What a Great Get Away

Right in the middle of Hurricane Helene..... we came to Hilton Head. What a perfect place to get away for a couple of days.... It was clean, beautiful, spacious, and just steps to the ocean.

Great location, needs updating

The location is perfect, super short walk to the beach, about 25 minute walk to Coligny. The house itself was a nice house with lots of room and natural light. We loved the pool, which was perfect for the younger kids. As stated in previous reviews, the house needs updating and a deep clean.

This home has a fantastic location and a very well stocked/equipped kitchen. It is very dated and a number of things (window blinds among others) don't work particularly well. It is a lovely home, just needs some investment/attention.

has a lot of space and perfect for larger groups. It is dated with pillow cases thread bare in some rooms. Our Dishwasher never worked throughout the stay despite having called 2 times. There was a leak in the sink that we notified right away about and it took several days for someone to come. They had no interest in repairing the dishwasher in the time we were there

Great area on the island

I just want everyone to know, lock you doors. On Friday, people went into our vehicle’s and stoled items that was not theirs. Once we reported it we find out it happens all the time. So I guess this happens everywhere these days. Besides this misshape the area and the house was nice.

Perfect for a family week in HHI

We were a family of 10 -- two grandparents (55-65), four parents (30-40), four grandchildren (3-7). This was a perfect home for us. I'll enumerate all of the great things -- great kitchen, living room, dining room and grill area-- perfect for hanging out and cooking. Great proximity to the beach (very short walk). Ample parking. Great location near Coligny. Great "clean-off" area when you get back from the beach. Great Ice-Maker! Tons of plates, glasses & silverware. Great dishwasher and washer/drier. 5 nice bedrooms on two levels. Well lit. Very pleasant. Checkin/checkout seamless and flawless! This is why I give it 5 stars -- it was a wonderful place to host a week-long family trip to HHI. The downsides are minor, but if you're expecting an upscale vacation, that's not what you're getting. This is best for a family. Grandchildren loved the pool. Adults didn't (buggy and dingy). Faucet handles loose, drawers broken, register that drips onto the toilet when you shower, cobwebs in corners -- all minor inconveniences, but if you care about them, they are there. TV's are too small. If you want to stream, bring your xbox or Roku's. I you want a hair dryer, bring one. I want to emphasize that these critical things are minor, and we loved our stay. I just want to mention things that vacationers may care about so that you're prepared. We would return in a heartbeat!

Great location

Because it is by the beach, we could walk to it within 5 minutes. We did couple times every day and went back to the well stocked kitchen at this house to eat meals. Lots of space, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Sea Oat Lane #5, Hilton Head

We are giving our stay at Sea Oak Lane #5, Hilton Head an overall rating of three stars. The interior of the house was a strong 4.5 while the exterior was a huge disappointment. The interior of the house was everything we had hoped. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen had all high-end appliances with more than enough dishes and flatware for the eight adults staying in the house. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, and serving dishes. The living spaces were very large and comfortable. The WIFI worked flawlessly. We spent a lot of family time in the main living room. The five bedrooms and five bathrooms were very comfortable, however, the TVs in the bedrooms were complicated to use. It would have been helpful to have written instructions The in-ground swimming pool and deck areas as depicted on the VACASA website were a major reason for choosing this house. When we arrived, we found that they were unusable. The first day of our stay the pool was filthy and the deck area was covered in leaves and branches. The lounge chairs were old, broken, and covered with mildew. In one corner of the deck area was a garden hose that could not be turned off because the faucet was broken. We finally kinked the hose to keep it from running continually. When we reserved this house, we had visions of lounging on the deck and enjoying the heated pool. Sadly, we could do neither. This was a great disappointment and we certainly would not have chosen this house for our family reunion if we had known the state of the pool and deck area. This was our third time using VACASA. The first two times our experiences were very positive. This stay held so much promise, but the condition of the pool area was a big disappointment, and had a negative impact on this VACASA experience.

Great Vacay!

This house was a great setup for our family of 11! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Double ovens and room for many to work for quick food preps. Having so many bathrooms was a bonus as well as the king size beds. The air conditioning worked well so it was cool enough at night. The kids loved the pool as much as the beach! The pool was cool enough for morning and afternoon swims- major bonus for 90 + degree days! The beach was short walk-5 yr old had no issues with it. Great gully for kids and lots of beach at low tide. 4 stars due to some dated smaller toilets and standing water at pool area due to clogged French drain. Some cosmetic updates are needed, but would stay here again!

Terrific location for a beach vacation

a very short walk to the beach is fantastic for a family beach vacation. Easy for all ages to walk back and forth. The house has a nice layout with 2 bedrooms on the main level and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Full kitchen and large dining table were just what was needed. We would stay here again.
