Enjoy our peaceful, private villa tucked away in one of the most secluded areas of St. Andrews Commons at the prestigious Palmetto Dunes Resort. The view from our 2nd floor villa is gorgeous. Enjoy our full view of the lagoon and fountain along hole #15 of the George Fazio Golf Course. The sun sparkles off the water as you watch the golfers on the fairway. Enjoy the panoramic view from our second floor balcony or the pool, only a few steps away. Palmetto Dunes Resort offers three eighteen hole championship golf courses (Robert Trent Jones, Arthur Hills and George Fazio), twenty five tennis courts, sixteen pickle ball courts with lights for night time enjoyment as well as five miles of scenic bicycle paths. You can explore the eleven miles of saltwater lagoon while kayaking or fishing. Last but not least, the three miles of pristine beach front. Our villa is located 3/4 mile from the beach. You can drive, bike, walk or take the seasonal Dunes Buggy to the beach front. The 2 main beach entrances are the Disney House and The Dunes house. Each one has free onsite parking next to the beach front, as well as onsite food, beverages and bathroom facilities. The Dunes Buggy offers free shuttle service April 1st through September 7th and the hours of operation are 8 am to 9 pm daily. The shuttle will take you anywhere on the Palmetto Dunes Resort which includes Shelter Cove.

Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina are located directly across the street from St Andrews Commons. Shelter Cove hosts the islands weekly Tuesday night fireworks display which begins in June and ends in mid-August. Additionally, there is music, food, drinks and entertainment by Shannon Tanner each Tuesday at Shelter Cove . The Shelter Cove Marina offers in-shore and deep sea fishing charters as well crabbing and Dolphin watching. Shelter Cove is the home of one of the most popular new restaurants on Hilton Head Island: Poseidon Coastal Cuisine. The harbor offers several water front dining restaurants as well as shopping and unique boutiques.

Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful area with great golf courses and beach access. This condo is in a very nice setting and is furnished very nicely. Lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. I want to mention that there are stairs inside of the condo to access the sitting area and the spiral staircase to the 2nd bedroom is very narrow and steep. We weren't able to get a suitcase up those stairs. Otherwise it was a great week away.

Great place to unwind.

The host provided detailed instructions on how to access the condo, which made for a seamless check-in process. The condo is also well furnished and provides for a great place to unwind after a day of fishing or a round of golf. Great location, with easy access to the beach via the onsite Dune Buggy shuttle. Restaurants, grocery and shopping are less than 10 minutes away by car. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Such a nice place! We are looking to move to Sun City and wanted a place to stay while visiting. This place was very clean, nicely appointed and had a wonderful deck we spent our evenings on. Definitely recommend! The pool is very close although the weather was too cold this time of year.

We came to Hilton Head for a weekend getaway. The rental was just as described. We had a little difficulty getting the code to open the door but a quick call to host remedied that. Place was clean and well stocked. Small dog barkjng in the morning was annoying.

Perfect Hilton Head getaway

Really fantastic condo in Palmetto Dunes resort - amenities abound - everything is bikeable - top tracer range - beach club - three golf courses. The neighborhood pool is quiet and lovely. The unit is comfortable and the owners are responsive. Highly recommend.

Great space. Pool is very close. Beaches are very close to ride to on your bike. Washer and dryer- but bring your own detergent- none available. Only 2 beach towels, so bring your own towels. Good kichen space. Some nice beach toys to use.

Lovely condo in Palmetto Dunes

This condo was wonderful and perfect for our family of four. Our 11 yo twins shared the loft bedroom upstairs. The condo is equipped with everything you could need: kitchen fully stocked, several beach chairs and boogie boards and an umbrella, cleaning supplies, etc. The balcony overlooking the lagoon is awesome and we spent our early mornings and late nights out there enjoying the scene. The condo is a short walk to the community pool which is also a wonderful amenity to have. Short drive or bike ride to the beach - we set up at the Disney beach resort beach entrance each day and it was a 5 minute drive door to door. Highly recommend!

Affordable and in great location. Host was responsive. Unit layout was a little odd with upstairs “bedroom” not having a lot of privacy. Received a parking citation even though we had a paid pass. Currently disputing the fine. Great view from balcony. Needs new linens, mattress, pillows and a deep clean. Couldn’t find tv remote for living room. It served its purpose and location was ideal.

Overall, nice condo, great pool and convenient location. Only complaint isn't the fault of the property owner, security or staff. The "HOA president" was watching the pool very closely and called security on a friend of ours for having their car parked in the area while they dropped off something to us while we were at the pool (approx 10 min-talking about our plans for the day). Later, we saw her checking parking and inspecting areas near our condo (trash cans maybe?) felt like we were being watched. Security was super cool.. I got the feeling they get a lot of calls to this place. Overall, would recommend staying here.

Loved it 1st time so came back!

We enjoyed this townhome (home itself, location, views, etc.) so much that we came BACK 2 years later! We could have stayed in other VRBO's, but we wanted THIS one so much that we booked the ONLY full week left on calendar for spring. Normally, we go earlier in year, but we enjoyed this home TOO much to compromise. Location is PERFECT, within walking and/or biking distance of almost everything you want/need. Home is PERFECT for a couple or family. Our only regret is that we weren't able to bring our children & grandchildren along with us, they would have LOVED it! Home stocked with almost EVERYTHING you'll need for cooking, relaxing, including beach necessities & toys, game night (board games, etc.), comfortable deck chairs w/cushions, etc. Deck has GORGEOUS views of golf course, pond with water feature, swimming pool a few hundred feet away----VERY comfortable---EXCELLENT choice for anyone wanting a guaranteed wonderful vacation @ a great price!
