Beautiful 1 bd, 1 bth condo is located right in the heart of Hilo with gorgeous views of treetops and sparkling blue waters. For the ultimate East side of Hawaii experience this is it. Far exceeds any Hilo Hotel.

Brand new vacation rental, previously long term! This condo overlooks Wailoa River State Park and you have breath taking views of the water from the living room, kitchen and bedrooms.

You will have everything you would need for a short trip or a longer extended stay. This is the perfect home base for your Hawaii island exploration. Comfortably sleeps 3 guests (King bed in bedroom and couch futon bed in living room).

The condo has a flatscreen smart TV and cable in the living room and smart TV with cable in the bedroom, WiFi, Air conditioned throughout, coin operated washer and dryer on the floor, a communal pool, parking for 1 vehicle, and the building has 24/7 security. Contactless check in.

Bedroom - Brand new king bed with adjustable height base with brand new quality linens, dresser, TV, ensuite bathroom with tub shower combo, A/C, lanai and closet.

This was our second time here, the first being one week in April 2025. Once again we appreciated the serene views & two lanais overlooking Wailoa State Park, the fully stocked kitchen, the portable cooler & pool towels (for picnics) & the host's notebook of clear, thorough instructions re: parking space, evening security protocols & keys, laundry room down the hall, recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. A gem of a location for walking into town, park enjoyment & sightseeing " headquarters". It was excellent for our intentional combo: 50 % Relaxation, reading, napping, walking 50 % excursions!

Give a try @ convenient & good place to stay

Although entire trip covered byraining, we walked to Akaka Fall. It was magnificent place to visit. It is suggested by the owner. The entire trip was magnificent, it was quiet, it has an AC, the bath room was clean.

Our Favorite Place to Stay in Hilo

This was the fifth time that we have stayed in a condo at this location. We love the clean, quiet atmosphere. We like the fact that it's air-conditioned, which we still needed in late September. The location is perfect, as we like to walk from the condo to Coconut Island every morning.

Great location for our needs

Property is secure, it was good for our needs. Kitchen was stocked with appliances and dishes. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our stay but the elevators get locked out at 9pm so be sure and take the extra key!

Very comfortable stay in a a nicely decorated apartment with great views of the lagoon. Enjoyed watching the plethora of fireworks at midnight on New Years from the balcony. Made use of the full kitchen, and laundry was just down the hall. Would recommend and stay again if we end up back in Hilo. Great suggestions from host on things to do.

Great location in Hilo

We had a wonderful time in Hilo and this condo is a perfect location! Very clean and everything you need. We were there 4 nights. They provided beach towels, cooler, kitchen necessities, etc. The condo had a very comfortable king bed and nice sheets and pillows. We even had to use the laundry facilities unexpectedly and the security office had quarters on site. It is a very secure building! Highly recommend this condo!

Serene Views, Ideal Location for Walking & Next to Wonderful Wailoa State Park

The views through the sliding glass windows in both the living room & bedroom are eye popping serenity and beauty looking at the verdant Wailoa Park and the big sky. Easy walk into town, short strolls and picnics in the park and manageable walks to the Bay and onto Banyan Drive for the park, restaurants, Banyan Gallery, etc. RECOMMEND: Changing out the coffee mugs which all have cracks and replacing the vegetable peeler which is so flimsy that I was afraid I'd cut myself. So, I borrowed our son's peeler. Otherwise, thank you for a well stocked, comfortable condo unit for our vacation!

Great Manager

Unbeknownst to the owner, the building was going to start repairs of the a/c and hot water for the few days we were supposed to be there. The apartment was in a wonderful location with beautiful views. As soon as I arrived and Terry was made aware of the unexpected inconveniences, he provided a full cancellation and refund and we were able to find a local hotel. Although we didn’t get to stay in the unit, I highly recommend it and the manager is quick to respond and gave a list of wonderful local recommendations for food and activities.

ok but dated

The unit was as the pictures show but some things need to be updated. The futon/sofa is well used and is no longer comfortable. The ac unit in the living room does not get cooler than 74/75 degrees. Luckily the bedroom unit works well and the bed was comfortable. All the appliances worked but truely the diswasher has to be from the 80's or 90's, just kind of took us by surprise..The inside hallways are very stark and nothing seems appealing. The unit worked for us as we were not there much. Updated seating is very necessary. Places to rent in Hilo are not plentiful so this was a fine option for us.

We very much appreciated the air conditioning and the great kitchen which had everything you would ever need. Merrie Monarch Adventure

This location was perfect for our visit to the Merrie Monarch Festival. Quick ride to the Festival grounds, walked to see the Royal Parade, great neighborhood for food and groceries. Could walk or drive to Downtown Hilo. Highly recommend this condo and its pleasant owners.
