"The room and grounds are both excellent with very friendly staff. The location is easy to find but close to a moderately busy road. The outdoor spaces are fantastic with things for young and young at heart. We enjoyed walking down to the river and Houghton Mill for a tranquil picnic. The breakfast was delicious."

Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. "Clean, quiet, good parking. Staff very friendly and did a vegetarian breakfast for me."

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."
