"The shower in my room made a horrible screeching and thumping noise from both hot and cold taps which made having a shower very unpleasant. Then at midnight I had to listen to the room next door using their shower that was also screeching and thumping. The plumbing needs to be fixed."

"the veranda along the front of the rooms was very dirty and needs a good steam clean, and in the room the paint was coming off the walls and there was dirty hand prints all over the walls. The towel rail in the bathroom was missing and it was just generally not clean. Also, the room was not serviced once over my 4 night stay, no clean towels and no refill of tea/coffee and I had to buy my own milk. I would not stay here again."

"Deluxe Studio: The receptionist helped with check-in even during their after hours. Just be mindful when booking through an external website, it might state that check-in is from 2-6pm. However, when we got there around 5pm, reception was closed. The neighbourhood is safe and everyone is super friendly. We had two cars and were able to park at our residence. Quiet neighbourhood curfew - 10PM Which means you can enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay! Note for staff: could you please check that there isn’t any gas leakages in the studios? The fire alarms are sensitive which is helpful when you’re in danger but my partner and I think there could possibly be a slight leak in the gas after using the kitchen."

"AC was good..it kept me warm. Quilt and blanket too helped.Room was clean. Closest Cafe is Ten on One Cafe on Mt Alexander Rd is the closest..open till 3pm. Meals very good ,portions very generous, hence price is justified. The chicken salad was yummy and sufficient for 2 meals"

"Great place for a short stay. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs and cafes. Tram stop across the road to the city. Car Parking available. Room was clean and well presented. Also outside garden for a relaxing read in the afternoon! Highly recommend."

"The location is outstanding, so no need to have a car. CBD, southbank, train station, all very close and in walking distance. Note that parking is expensive and hard. Its either a carpark that allows you one entry one exit per pay, or the hotels valet ($80 a day). The hotel itself is a bit dated, but still has a luxury feeling. Great gym and great spa. The rooms are a bit small, so if you need to take business calls from the room - take this into consideration. Two people cannot work from the room together."
