「Such a nice, cozy place」

「We had a short weekend stay here and Wow everything you need for a relaxing holiday..... what a fantastic touch to have a bottle of wine and some choclates complimentary on our arrival.. Nice cosy cottage with all the amenities you could wish for 」

「Astley Cottage was a calm retreat for two. What a wonderful outlook over the Daylesford bushland. The Cottage is well appointed with King size bed and delightful sheets and a spa and fire place to create the perfect couples retreat.」

「The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!」

There are two other accomodations as part of this property making it ideal if you are travelling with friends and want to book more than one. 「We had a great stay at the property, it was exactly what we needed! The property is conveniently located being so close to town (walking distance). The kids loved their bedroom, the games provided, and the Easter treats were a very sweet touch. The whole house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Would love to stay again.」

「beautiful surprise in a nice country town. luxurious interior decor. only comment is bathroom is not suited for older people as will need to stand in bathtub for shower , open concept. I enjoyed the wooden bathtub but did not want to wet the surroundings so was best to sit and shower. :)」
