"The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30!"

"We enjoyed staying at Primrose - very clean and plenty of space for us. The wood burner is fab - makes the place very cosy and also were pleased to be able to store bikes in the shed which was lockable. Definitely looking to return in the summer if available !"

"Island House is perfectly located in the centre of Porthleven. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was an ideal base for a walking holiday. Excellent restaurants, pubs and a micro-brewery within walking distance. Will certainly return and would highly recommend to others. The host, James, could not have been more helpful."

"The only issue was parking; there’s ample room for two cars but getting in and out was tight, required reverse parking, and the entrance lane is very narrow, in poor condition and extremely steep. Otherwise, we loved the house in every way; a true home from home with everything you could require. It was warm, spacious, quaint, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. My two daughters, two grandsons and I loved it. We cooked all our meals together and everything we needed was there; I can’t...

"When we arrived we were met straight away by Colin. We had a lovely chat and was showed around the property and told " nowhere was off limits in their beautiful garden. We enjoyed the complimentary cream tea and was very impressed with the accommodation. Nothing seemed to be a problem, Colin and his wife were always available but also discreet. A very enjoyable stay."

"The property was just as listed. Everything was in very good condition and really clean. We were left some firewood and kindling too which was really appreciated as it was quite chilly when we went! The central heating was great and the wood burner added the extra warmth for cosiness. The garden was lovely and parking was really convenient. Easy to find the property and we had a great stay."
