"It’s a great location for driving the Beartooth Highway into or from Yellowstone. That’s the best continuous scenery anywhere. The Beartooth Hideaway is a great location at a reasonable price ."
Iconic Log Cabin At The Yellowstone River Ranch

Hotel Expedition
8/10 Good
"Hotel Expedition is the classic old hotel/motel renovated into an "arty" cool property. I really like that look and so it works for me. The no human staff aspect worried me but it all worked out pretty smoothly. I did receive the text with the room # and the code for access. Check was not quite as smooth as there were no clear directions for how to check out. I managed to talk to housekeeping staff and although friendly, they could not help me with check out directions. We ended up asking one of the women to text the owners and let them know that we had left. The property is across the street from a nice sized river which was very relaxing. The town of Red Lodge is also very charming and I really enjoyed our time there. Hotel Expedition is easy walking distance to the heart of the town. I would stay at this property again but some of the amenities were lacking. Examples: sauna not functional and directions via QR code not helpful, jacuzzi apparently working but didn't look that clean, wall clock not working, etc,...little stuff like that but really didn't bother me that much. This place seems like a perfect fit for younger travelers. If not expecting a higher end property, this place could be perfect for you."
Château Rouge 213 ~ Grizzly Peak Getaway
10/10 Excellent
"This property was clean, cozy, and worth the price. We had a wonderful time and the owner was very responsive with questions. This location is very close to hiking trails that are absolutely beautiful."
Someday Ranch- Private Cabin Retreat on 5 aces with direct Creek access
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful place to stay! We really enjoyed everything about it! The setting was very private and relaxing. We liked the front porch with the log rocking chairs to watch the sunset and the short walk to the creek for our dog to play in. You could also hear the rushing water of the creek from the front porch which was a very relaxing sound. We used the cabin as our home base going back and forth to Yellowstone. The drive to the east entrance was 1 hour 40 minutes and the drive to the northeast entrance was 1 hour 50 minutes. Both drives are beautiful and very scenic with many areas to stop and visit along the way. Although the drive to the northeast entrance was more breathtaking with the mountain pass in our opinion. The town of Cody which is about 45 minutes away has a lot of shopping and restaurants and even a rodeo every night! The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen and had a grill, they even provided charcoal. The bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and lotion, plenty of towels, bathtub and shower. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom has an awesome view of the mountains and also a skylight! The host was very easy to communicate with and check in and out was very easy and smooth. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"
