"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. Book early, this hotel is popular and fills up fast."

"The hotel physical condition was average. It is an old hotel so it is very normal and the personnel was soooo helpful and smiling. I want to send special thank for kind help and effort to personnel Ivanna and Malique.They were perfect people. But I had a very very bad restaurant experince . The restaurant does not belong to with the hotel but placed in the hotel so it is effecting the hotel prestige. "This hotel was more "western" in the room size and overall expanse. We used the hotel as a base to search neighboring towns for genealogical clues to my fathers relatives. Nice big room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast (and dinner one night). Paid parking was onsite and convenient. The showerhead was in rough shape, but it was the weekend and I guess the maintenance staff wasn't available, as it didn't get fixed. Nonetheless, a perfectly enjoyable hotel stay."
