My wife and I had a great time at Riu Hotel

The hotel was in a good location. The first room was disappointing as it only had one armchair for 2 adults to share. We upgraded our room for a fee. The new room had a pair of chairs. Unfortunately the washing machine did not work. A fault kept appearing saying there was no water. Two hotel staff failed to address the issue. On our 6th day we had a good breakfast in the lobby. Some of the communal areas looked tired. Worn out carpets and chipped paint work. We stored our bags at the hotel on our last day as we had a late flight home. The noise from the metro trains passing below throughout the night was a source of disturbance we have done without.
