"We had a very nice 10-day stay at this cottage. The location was great for us, the house was as expected from the listing, and we were generally very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay.The main area that could use improvement is the cleaning. There was some trash left inside when we arrived, and the kitchen—particularly the stovetop, sink, and some of the smaller surfaces and items—needed a more thorough cleaning. There was also noticeable dust and cobwebs in some areas. Given the high cleaning fee, we expected better.A few other minor issues: rugs near the stairs and kitchen felt like tripping hazards, and some of the lighting could also be improved. We also noticed a small leak under the kitchen sink and some water around the full bathroom toilet. We cleaned those up and they didn't come back, but it's worth a second look by the owner.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought the cottage and location were a good fit for us. We would definitely return, but with some additional attention to cleaning and a few maintenance details, it would be an excellent rental."

"Marty and Brenda were excellent hosts! They treated us like family and checked in with us throughout our stay.The best part of this VRBO is the location. The home is part of the Sebasco Golf Resort and sits on a beautiful cove. The walks around the property were one of our favorite parts of the stay. The views were amazing! Our neighbors were incredibly friendly. Our dogs loved it. The 2nd best thing is how well-loved and cared-for this home is. For an older, multigenerational home, it has been exceptionally maintained and thoughtfully updated while still retaining its character.Before choosing this VRBO, we asked ChatGPT, “What town in Maine is in the best location for golfing and arts & crafts?” It recommended Phippsburg, and it did not disappoint!We played 3 golf courses in 3 days, with Sebasco being our favorite. Our favorite Arts & Crafts spots were Lisa-Marie’s (local artists), The Mix (supplies), and Halycon Yarns (Yarn).Our favorite breakfast: Winnegance. Lunch: Sisters Gourmet Deli. Dinner: Pomelia and Crabby Lobster (take and eat lobster!)A few minor things to be aware of: -There was a rattling sound in the front living room that seemed to be coming from the crawl space. -Bath is about a 20–25 minute drive for grocery stores and restaurants.-Finding Tottman Preserve was tricky because Google Maps directed us to the wrong location.Overall, it was an excellent experience and we would love to stay here again! There is so much left to explore!"

"This was a great visit for us! The property was very clean, well maintained and very private. The bed was very comfortable. Although we never met the owner, he was very responsive to text messages. We would come back here again. It should be noted that the description of the property should more accurately describe the "kitchen", which consists of a refrigerator and microwave. This wasn't a problem for us, as we are campers and brought our camp stove with us. Overall we were very pleased with this property. Seeing the deer right outside of our window was a real treat!"

"Beautiful property that is well equipped! The living room was so cozy and comfortable. The location is just far enough away to feel private and remote, but close enough to Bath to feel well connected to daily needs. The cove is stunning and feels very private. Overall a lovely stay and our only regret is not staying longer!"

"Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room."

"Beautiful beach! Had to ask for check in information as we were traveling. Booking was incorrect: didn’t include the dog. Paid an extra 500 for the dog: no pet fee was listed on the listing. Presence of ring cameras outdoors was not disclosed until check in information received."
