Peaceful Cabin in the Woods - Near the Beach

"This was a great visit for us! The property was very clean, well maintained and very private. The bed was very comfortable. Although we never met the owner, he was very responsive to text messages. We would come back here again. It should be noted that the description of the property should more accurately describe the "kitchen", which consists of a refrigerator and microwave. This wasn't a problem for us, as we are campers and brought our camp stove with us. Overall we were very pleased with this property. Seeing the deer right outside of our window was a real treat!"
Waterfront Estate in Popham Beach

"House was great for our multigenerational vacation! Lovely, cozy, & clean home with lots of space for everyone! Lots of outdoor space which we enjoyed but mosquitoes are rough. Area is close to beach, few minutes to Popham State Park which was great! Overall very quiet location, not too many eating places or supermarkets close by so I would recommend bringing food/meals. Although can definitely find places if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. Host & caretakers on site were very helpful & responded quickly to any concerns. We would definitely recommend & hope to come back again!"

"Beautiful location, view, large bright and cosy common space. We enjoyed the large table in the room downstairs, the TV and sofas and above all the porch/balcony seating. Two comfortable and fully functional bathrooms. Two of the three bedrooms face toward the bay with large windows. The third bedroom is much smaller and darker, not as clean, strangely crumped by both a full size bed and a large bunk bed.All three beds are exceedingly soft. Overall perfect for three friends on a short writing retreat. Thank you Bryn and John."

"The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot!"

"Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room."

"Beautiful beach! Had to ask for check in information as we were traveling. Booking was incorrect: didn’t include the dog. Paid an extra 500 for the dog: no pet fee was listed on the listing. Presence of ring cameras outdoors was not disclosed until check in information received."
