「Our family of 6 stayed there for a week. Our main focus on the trip was exploring the nature so the location was perfect. Equal distance to both the national park and Mauna Kea, and being not so far from the airport was very ideal. Howard’s place was so comfortable that we decided to just enjoy the place playing pool and relaxing in the yard. Howard was so easy to communicate with too. Thank you Howard for such a nice place and some background story of the house!」

「The grounds were amazing. We were allowed to pick our own fruits like papaya, sapote, banana, mountain apple, avocado, cacao, etc. The property was clean and cozy, and the outdoor shower was very nice. Only downside was a couple of loud coqui frogs at night, and it was a bit of a drive to Hilo.」

「8 of us stayed at this wonderful property (5 adults and 3 kids under 10). It was just perfect. The house is extremely comfortable and everyone had their own space. We loved the location as for us we wanted to explore Volcano National Park and much of the east side of the island. We did go to Kona for a day which was easily accessible as well. Hilo is awesome and so is this house!」

「We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and was one of the neatest and cutest guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. 「Great location near nice beach/park within minutes from downtown Hilo. Awesome manager communication with excellent local recommendations. Easy access, parking, and key elevator for secure building access. Only negative is there were many small bugs probably due to the closeness of the park and very loud traffic noise due to being on a main street.」
