"The staff, from the front desk to the dining & bar area, were working hard & very helpful. We were disappointed by how run down parts of the areas were. The carpeting welcoming us up to our room was musty, worn, and did not even look clean. The room itself did not match what we expected from online photos, but its an historic place, so we overlooked that. "My favorite thing about this motel is how clean it was. It smelled and felt very, very clean. The manager, Lisa, was also very kind. Bumped into her twice while I was sitting outside my room. They only had one physical key for the room, so plan accordingly, but they should have electronic door codes up and running soon. 9.5/10 experience!"
