"Just returned from 12 days at Harbor House (3 adults), and had a wonderful time! It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful spot. We found Harbor House to be well stocked with supplies and every piece of kitchen equipment we needed. We mostly spent our days watching Lake Huron, either from inside or out on the very large deck. We’re going to miss that view! We ate out twice at the nearby Alcona Brew Haus which has an amazing allergy-friendly menu. But mostly we just hung out at “home” and relaxed. Hope to be back some day!"

"The owner is a very nice man. My dad broke his foot the day before he and my mom were scheduled to leave to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The owner was very accommodating and did not mind that a third person (me) had to join them so they had a driver. He even brought over a more rugged walker for my dad to use while we were there. The walker my dad had was very basic and the one we were allowed to borrow was so much easier for him to use. We all loved feeding the fish and learning about raising trout. We would definitely go back "
