"The owners are friendly and funny . It is a farmstay so the water smells like farm water but makes your hair soft lol . The rooms were clean and comfortable. The whole place would be amazing to rent for a family reunion , birthday bash or big get together. My husband was on his way out to work a job in BC and had his work truck with all his tools etc . "My husband and I stayed at The Nook for three nights over the weekend. The building was older and definitely in need of some repair and renovations. The actual unit was very clean, cozy and updated. Lots of extras for cooking were provided (like spices, oils, coffee, teas, syrups etc) as well as bathroom amenities (like Q-tips, face pads, etc). There are lots of small appliances available such as a waffle maker, milk frother, blender, toaster, and crock pot. The bed was comfortable with plenty of linens. There is lots of closet space and drawers to store your belongings. There is not a kitchen table to eat at, but two computer desks side by side. The unit is on the third floor which can only be accessed by two outdoor staircases. It is directly across the street from the east end of the lagoon. The Nook is small and cozy but well equipped for travellers."
