You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. 「This house is the perfect place for family bonding. Our extended family came together from NJ, FL, VA, MD and NC. The original intent was to check off a Bucket List item to hike 20 miles on the AT. That was accomplished but the real reward was enjoying all the house amenities afterwards. Lounging in the heated plunge pool was great for the tired muscles and then sitting around the fire pit for everyone to share their experiences on the trail brought lots of laughs and commiserating!」
