"This property will not be an ideal vacation hotel. We had to walk through an alley to get to the hotel. And it is far away from everything. The area is not that safe to walk back to the hotel at night. The receptionists were not as friendly. The bed sheets were dirty. And they don't change it. They just provide new towels only daily. My bed sheet was dirty and the spot have been there since my first day, and they don't change it. At night, anyone could follow me to the hotel and get in to the elevator area while I was waiting. The receptionist area is in another building."

"The room is modern with a lot of space. The beds are very comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and nice. The location is very accessible to transit and walking distance to restaurants and shopping areas. I will definitely stay here again if I will go back to Seoul. "

"The hotel is ideally placed for visits to multiple tourist spots within walking distance.The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the room well maintained. The coffee bar had a small menu but there was always seating and staff were welcoming. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was value for money. I would stay there again."

"Great location! We've enjoyed our stay here. Check in staff were very helpful with our early arrival and check-in. They took the time to research and suggest a better alternative to the Korean spa from what we had originally planned to visit after our long flight. We had a room with two single beds, which we knew would be small but was still very comfortable. Very nice hotel for our Seoul visit and would stay here again."

"Stanford Myeongdong was a decent hotel. We stayed in a two single bed room with a great view of the city. Breakfast was okay, nothing stood out, but good to have as many places don’t open till later in the day. The bathroom was the main issue as it wasn’t very powerful, but our shower kept leaking. It was one of those removable ones but wouldn’t stay in place when having the shower on full blast, making it spray outside of the tub and onto the bathroom floor. Overall decent stay; good location, comfortable enough."

"Got a « deluxe family room » for 3 but it was basically a standard room with a twin “squeezed” in. Tight squeeze. Staff very nice and helpful however. Right downtown so that’s good also. Corridors and rooms started to look their age. Corridor rugs look to be coming loose with lots of “waves”. However overall a decent experience."
