The hotel is very close to the centre of town, though you will need to catch a taxi if you want to go to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The rooms are overall quite comfortable, though one room they initially offered us smelt like cigarettes. However, they were quick to respond to our complaint and change us to a different room. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. All the tours they booked for us turned out to be excellent. They even arrange a charter car to pick us up from Hanoi Railway Station at 4am, which we really appreciated after an overnight train ride. Breakfast was a disappointment. The options was quite limited. The serving room for breakfast was quite small. However, you are really close to so many eating options in Hanoi, and prices of food being so cheap in Vietnam, this is actually no big deal. In the end, good rooms, not so good breakfast, but outstanding customer service. I'd come back again anyway.
