"We were looking for a remote cabin for peace and relaxation. Our experience at Windy Pond Farm fit the bill perfectly! I loved meeting the horses, mule, and goats. Jim and Tracey, our hosts, were wonderful and helpful with our questions.We went to Honesdale for a quick visit and enjoyed the quaint feel and architecture of the homes just on the outskirts.Highly recommend!"

"Our family group of 18 had a wonderful time here. The house is amazing-so many interesting things to see! We enjoyed the pond and boats, caught a few fish-mostly little crappies, but also a pickerel and a bass, and mostly ate on the great porch overlooking the pond. Despite a few glitches with alarms, everyone agreed that it was one of our best vacations."

"Clean and comfortable cabin. Much nicer than the pictures provided. 5 mins drive to restaurant and dollar general, yet secluded. The river is clean and frigid. Bring a kayak or waders. Awesome experience. Quick response time from host. Also comfortable bed and awesome pillows."

"We very much enjoyed ourselves. It was rustic, with the understanding they are remodeling while we were there. But we didn't mind they thought of everything right down to the little travel sewing kit in the room. It was like when you least expected it, you found something else that was unexpected and amazing that they thought ahead another emergency prevention. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and our grandkids. Appreciate the s'mores kids at the bonfire."

"One of our best experiences with VRBO! The house and grounds were perfect. Jennifer left a bottle of wine to greet us. All of our children and grandchildren as well as our 87 year old grandmother had an amazing time. Forest City and Honesdale were a delight but rest assured you don’t need to leave the property to find something to do. We had a smoke alarm issue and Fred was great. Responsive and helpful. We cooked for our crowd and should have packed a large stock pot. Two maintenance items-kitchen light bulbs burnt out and stove temp seems to be a bit off to a lower temp. None of these were show stoppers we just adjusted. We are already talking about another booking! Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful time!"
