"Not as presented in photos and text. House was full of someone's belongings, clothes, food and toys. Many health and safety issues eg half eaten food and opened bottles and jars in fridge, open box of prescription medicines in cupboard, no handrail on staircase, no lock on downstairs window, bathroom basins had hair and soap scum, kitchen worktop and fridge needed cleaning and clearing, also upholstery needs a good clean, patio vertical blind needs fixing, wobbly wooden furniture. Neither house nor yard were welcoming, we had to clean and clear some space for our use. A good 20 minute walk to beach. Check-in instructions were not 3 days prior but minutes before arrival. Misrepresented and not worth money."
"It has an ‘artful’ flare and a hint of nostalgia about the place whilst remaining up to date modern in facilities whilst all the staff were most efficient and delightful in character, highly recommend a stay here (!!)."
"Best location, we went to the beach every morning with the boogie boards and the kids had a blast. It was clean but definitely in need of a renovation. The sliding door is difficult to open, the main hot plate and grill elements need replacing, the taps are difficult to turn off. But everything you need is there and the location was the absolute greatest. Night markets Thursday on the beach front were amazing! "
"Arrived expecting a small apartment but as soon as we opened the door, we were very surprised with the size of the accommodation, plus the added extras of tennis rackets in the cupboard, some coffee pods, plus a cupboard with stuff left by others to help out when we wanted some tomato sauce on our hot chips. Views of the beach were great, pool was great, location great, parking was secure. All in all, a great location and apartment we would be happy to stay again and buy it to retire in if it comes up for sale."
