Completely ridiculous. This four-star hotel is very well located, extremely clean, and has all the features you would expect from a four-star property. The hotel itself is great, and I have no complaints about the room or the facilities. The only problem is the 35,000 KRW per person fee to use the pool, plus an additional 15,000 KRW for one umbrella and two chairs. What makes this even more ridiculous is that these fees apply even to hotel guests. You would expect the pool to be included for guests staying at a four-star hotel, or at least offered at a reasonable rate. Charging hotel residents these kinds of fees for access to the pool is, in my opinion, completely unreasonable.

We had a nice stay here… the owner was there to greet us when we arrived to check in, and even though we were early, he had our room ready and allowed us to check in early. He was friendly and even gave us a few recommendations of where to visit while we stayed. We stayed in a traditional ondol room, so it was nostalgic for me, having grown up in Jeonju, but if you’re not accustomed to sleeping on the floor, you might want to opt for a room that has a bed. We loved the location since it was located within the tourist area, so there were plenty of shopping and dining options, all within walking distance. We’ll definitely consider staying here again if we visit Jeonju in the future.
