Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The onsen was so nice and well maintained. They offered drinks in a lounge like area before entering the onsen and after you get out. The local tea was so good, I think it was called usuchatou (the spelling might be wrong). The rooms were nice. The breakfast was so delicious and had a big variety. We were a group of 4 and stayed in a traditional Japanese style room and as Americans it was our first time having to lay out futons so it was fun. The staff were amazing, we don’t have service here and twice they called a taxi for us after asking and were very kind. Definitely 10/10 one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at so far in Japan."

"We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were absolutely beautiful — so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again."

Crowne Plaza - ANA Hamamatsu by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel has a perfect location, just a block from the train station in central Hamamatsu. It is clean, comfortable and very pleasant. With several restaurants, a nice bar and small cafe it has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
