"We were impressed from the moment we entered the property. It was clean, well stocked with amenities for our stay and extremely spacious for our family. For me personally the hot tub was the highlight of the stay and sitting outside in a warm tub under the wintery night sky was just magical. The only thing to note, and nothing to do with the property but there is a toll on the tunnel through the mountain on the fastest way to the close town of akureyri at 1800ISK per way."

"Location, comfort and value! This apt was well-managed and furnishings were in great condition. The location is perfect for walking to sites, restaurants and bars. The only downside was that the floors were swept, but had dirt spots and needed to be washed. The dirt showed on the bottoms of our socks. Everything else was clean. "

"This location was everything we wanted. The view is beautiful. We were able to access the city and be separate. The property had parking and lights that could be turned off and on a timer (which was cool) and we even ended up finding that there were sheep on the property! Thanks for letting us stay!"

"The apartment was not as described or pictured. I paid for a two bedroom apartment with a living room. There was only one bedroom and a kitchen. There was no living room and the 2nd bedroom was a bed in the kitchen. Also, someone put a huge dent in our rental car in the parking lot, which is going to cost us a lot of money. There is no way this person didn’t realize what they did, based on the size of the dent. So be careful parking back there. "

"Convenient location with city (paid) parking out front or out back. Solid dinner and snack menu. Breakfast was not great. Complimentary washer-dryer was great and they provided the detergent. Good for a night and then move on. Friendly staff make up for everything that wasn’t great."
