"Great hotel in a pleasant setting, nice staff.
Room was spacious and comfortable with a huge window with woodland views.
Dinner was good but they need more healthy options on the menu as everything seems to come with chips.
Breakfast was great.

"Room was very clean and parking was very easy. The Hotel is on a busy main road so you will hear some noise but this did not affect our stay and i would use this Hotel again."
"We had been to visit David Austin Roses and White Cottage was in a reasonable distance from there - we did not want to travel back to Nottingham on the same day.
We were made most welcome by Rob. The room was well presented and thoughtfully laid out. The bathroom was sparkling! We were provided with tea/coffee facilities, milk and wine. We were also give two pieces of the most delicious cake! Breakfast was wonderful and again, beautifully presented, with lots of choice.
Nothing was too much trouble for Rob and Jackie. They are excellent hosts and clearly know their business.
The White Cottage is a little gem!"

Despite Consumer protection laws clearly establishing that accommodations must be fit for purpose I did not get a refund. Both owner and hotels.com hid behind a deadline for cancellation (which was not on my side and not possible within the timeframe given this was A DAY BEFORE our booking! - the management should have acknowledged the issue, offered immediate compensation, and taken urgent action to remedy the cause.
Regrettably, I cannot recommend The Claverley Hotel to colleagues or other travellers."

"2 nights stay, the house matched our needs in every way. Spacious, large bedrooms and excellent size lounge.Outdoor space was used right through to late evening, bbq and fire pit very useful, overall a really great property.Host Richard was most helpful with our various questions!"
