As we drove down a dirt road to The Pink Flamingo, we wondered what we were getting into. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were smitten! It was gorgeous, beautiful, exquisite! The high ceilings, interesting African artifacts and photographs, stained glass windows, large bedrooms, pools and views were like a dream. The owner, Theresa, and her son, Thomas, catered to our every need and desire. The Italian food cooked by Theresa was delicious. Both dinners we ate were so very good! We...

The Stella Maris staff is the highlight of the facility. They immediately become family and treat you as such. The facility is very clean and very well kept. There are limitations that are to be expected as a part of visiting the country and area such as occasional area power outages (which are only a brief interruption till the generator comes on) and periodic brief Wifi disruption common for the area. The food is excellent. The bed is comfortable with a mosquito net. Pillows are...

The staff was just wonderful

This hotel is beautiful and charming in a unique way. Surrounded by banana and maze plantation, they have brought nature in by keeping numerous beautiful potted plants in the rooms and around common areas. It makes the place uniquely beautiful!

Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful area, great staff. Highly reccomend.

Great customer service

Very high end for the city of Moshi. Great amenities and clean, spacious rooms comparable to many hotels in the states

All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great view of kilimanjaro on tye rooftop!!!

We had been promised a driver to take us from the airport to the lodge, and he was there waiting in spite of the l-o-n-g entry process and the late hour. And, he is a very good driver, even where the roads were iffy. We were offered a late light supper, which was perfect. In the morning, the manager greeted us with "Come see the mountain. It's the first time in a month!" He led us to a huge deck jutting out over a gorge, and there in front of us was a crystal clear Kilimanjaro. Wow! ...

The staff helped us with all of our needs. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very safe. Breakfast was included and was delicious and plentiful, too.

Great customer service, very peaceful environment and beautiful architecture and agriculture

Very nice property for stay in Arusha. Outside the city - quite place.

Mount Meru is a step back in time. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was extremely kind. We needed a late check out and they were wonderful with that. The dinner was delicious. The breakfast leaves with more to desire although they did have an omlet station which was great. There was plenty of hot water for 3 women to take consecutive showers. I would definitely come back and stay.

The hotel is literally a big garden. Breakfast is awesome.
